Watercolor Club
We are thrilled to unveil our Spring Watercolor Club, a wonderful opportunity for youth to dive into the enchanting world of watercolor, generously sponsored by the Dixie Watercolor Society, the St. George Children’s Museum, and The Miner Foundation. This free club aims to introduce young artists to the magical qualities of watercolor, offering a platform for both beginners and returning students to explore and refine their skills.
What to Expect:
Participants will embark on a creative journey led by award-winning artist Jim Hewlitt, whose masterpieces grace galleries throughout Southern Utah. Beginners will explore basic watercolor techniques like transparency, reflections, and color layering. Returning students will have the opportunity to hone existing skills and acquire new ones. Each session promises hands-on painting experiences and valuable insights shared by local artists.
