Paws for Tales
June 24, 2026 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
On the 4th Wednesday of each month, between 4-5pm, Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) with Intermountain Therapy Animals will come visit the Museum. Their mission is to “improve the literacy skills of children through the assistance of registered therapy teams as literacy mentors.” Kids will get the opportunity to read to a dog! This helps kids “improve their reading and communication skills and also teaches them to love books and reading.”
This program will be held in our Lending Library. We will have 1-2 dogs at each program so space will be limited! There is no early sign up and it will be based on a first come, first serve basis. Each child will get 10 minutes of reading with a dog.
