St. George Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony & Lights Around the World

November 28, 6-8 p.m. (closed during the day). Free admission.

Ring in the holiday season with the Kickoff to Christmas hosted by the City of St. George in Town Square. The Museum will also be open from 6 to 8 p.m. for our annual Lights Around the World celebration.

Join Aaronee from 107.3 and 94.9 for an Ugly Sweater Contest for both adults and kids. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest of all! Santa Claus will make a special appearance for children after the parade by the carousel. The Museum will have holiday activities from around the world and free admission from 6 to 8 p.m.

After the St. George Tree Lighting in Town Square, have a multicultural experience with your family at the Museum. Learn more about the different ways people celebrate “Holidays in Your Backyard.” Can you guess which holidays we will be celebrating? We will have special guests, games, and crafts that celebrate the importance of light in different religions and cultures. The Museum is open from 6 to 8 p.m. and admission is free.
