Vroom®
The St. George Children’s Museum has partnered with a program entitled Vroom® to bring parents and caregivers yet another resource to engage their children in learning.
Vroom is unique in that it does not introduce any new concepts or ideas, but utilizes the opportunities parents and children are given every day to sharpen skills, make connections, and gain an understanding of the world around them. They value positive connections, back-and-forth interactions, and building life skills (Vroom 2018). Their research-backed program is available throughout our museum in many exhibits. Vroom’s mission is to “…empower parents and caregivers to play a proactive role in their children’s early brain development by turning shared, everyday moments into Brain Building Moments®” (Vroom 2018).
At the St. George Children’s Museum, we are proud to have a partner who is equally invested in the educational value of hands on, everyday experiences for children!
